[Get Over It]

Very Nice!!!

So, first off, I am listening to this on rather terrible headphones at the library, so the kick seems a little thin for my tastes at this moment, so I'll find that out once I get home and "rock this" on my Sennheiser HD 500s.

Anyway, for the actual review.

Catchy melody, and not super repetetive! You've got to vary the percussion a little bit more, but you've got some good buildups that aren't stock, run of the mill crap. Maybe throw a bit more variety in the melody, though.

However, I call this a 10.

Hahaha all I really have to say is that the trumpet sound at 1:10 is not characteristic of a trumpet sound at all. It's very obviously computerized (this is coming from a trumpeter), but otherwise it sounds amazing throughout the song.

well, its multiple real trumpets played together and recorded sample for sample, then sequenced with quite a few direct sound processing technologies on top. agreed, it's quite a digital sound, but in music today, the sound is rarely what it would be with an instrument in hand hearing it unfiltered and raw.

[B7 Lance Battle Final Remaster]

Holy! Absolutely holy!

So yeah, Junichi Masuda did his own metal remix of the original song, and I originally thought that your older version was better than his. This one blows it out of the water. I heard the Dragonite cry where you took it out in the original, and I just said, "Holy shit! This is fuckin' amazing!!!"

And, being a guitarist, drummer, and pianist/synthist, I know that this took chops like a boss. The solos all seem complete, the drums (although programmed) kick some major ass, the guitar has great tone, it's amazing. The only thing I have to say is that at one point, the guitar is just a TINY bit off the beat (around 3:10.)

Other than that, fucking amazing. I'm downloading it, and learning the drum part. Youtube video post anyone?

Well........

Well, it was a good effort. I think. But, you ought to work on a few things. Tonal quality of the voice, not cracking on high notes (get someone who is actually supposed to sing in that range,) sound quality of the recording, and the right notes in the first place. The rhythms and notes were off. But... You get 2/10, 1/5 for the effort.

Lol... "notes were off" wtf of course they were this was supposed to be funny. I have perfect pitch by the way, piss the hell off, I know if I'm singing off or not, and I am fully aware of some off pitch singing. Before you tell me that the actual notes sung were wrong, think again, I know they're right.

The only problem that I heard was that some of the transitions didn't quite seem to work, they seemed a little bit too edgy with the tempo. If that made any sense to you, please translate it to normal english. XD

Anywho, once I get a computer again, I'm gonna step this song for StepMania! That way all you people who want to DDR it can! :P

How about... Music Theory somewhere? The "lead" part near the middle was so dissonant that I almost shat myself. So, I suppose that I would have had to change my undies. But, this was not a TechnoGasm. At all. Sorry. Also, a better set of sounds in your synths would be appreciated. And EQing. And effects. Oh, and EQ.
